Oh, you have a desk job? That’s, uh, nice.
I just realized that my friend Ella is in the Peace Corps and is doing big things in Peru. I’ve been her friend on Facebook for awhile, but I had never really read her profile, because who has time for all that? I’m happy for her, but yet at the same time I’m sad for me. Yet another instance where I’m reminded that I’m totally Loser Von Patheticston.

Last year I let a kid go to the restroom before me at a gas station in Pleasanton, on my way to Corpus. We are all saints in our own way.
